The City of East Grand Forks has completed and submitted our service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health. The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT) at https://maps.umn.edu/LSL/. You may also contact us at East Grand Forks Water and Light Department, 600 Demers Ave or by phone at 218-773-1163. To complete the service line inventory, the Minnesota Department of Health contracted with Widseth Engineering to review all available records and perform in-home inspections of service lines if necessary. As of 11/3/2025 our inventory contains 8 lead, 1 galvanized lines requiring replacement, 121 unknown material, and 2,900 non-lead service lines.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Water and Light Commission Meeting scheduled for 8am on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, has been moved to Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 8am in the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 600 DeMers Avenue, East Grand Forks, MN due to a scheduling conflict.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Commissioners of the Water, Light, Power and Building Commission will hold a closed meeting in the Water and Light Conference room in the West Wing in City Hall, 600 Demers Avenue Northwest, East Grand Forks, Minnesota. The meeting will be held following the Water & Light Commission meeting on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. This meeting is closed pursuant to MN Statute 13D.03 which allows the Commission to meet in closed session to consider labor negotiation strategies.
