Explore MN with a Free State Park Pass!
The Department of Natural Resources is collaborating with public libraries across the state to provide free seven-day state park passes for checkout
We have 2 Minnesota State Park Passes available for checkout. Passes can be checkout on adult cards in good standing.
- All state park passes expire after 7 days from the date of checkout.
- Passes cannot be put on hold and must be checked out at the library in person. We are unable to email, mail, or fax passes.
- Passes cannot be renewed.
- Limit 1 park pass per card/family.
- Passes must be visibly displayed in your vehicle’s dashboard, so park staff can check validity and expiration date.
- Passes do not need to be returned, just recycled.
