[ARCHIVED] Information on Absentee Voting for the November 8th General Election

There are different ways to request an absentee ballot and they are as follows:  

 Absentee voting for all city wards is available at City Hall 

  • Monday through Friday between 8am-5pm starting September 23rd through November 4th
  • Saturday, November 5th from 10am to 3pm
  • Monday, November 7th from 8am to 5pm

Voters can also request an absentee ballot by completing the absentee application on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website, mnvotes.org, clicking on Other Ways to Vote, and complete the absentee application.   Polk County would mail out a ballot once the application was received from the State.

Voters can also stop by the Polk County Taxpayer Service Center located at 612 N Broadway Room 225 to complete an absentee application and receive a ballot.
