City Closes River Road NW. Flood walls to be installed soon.
City crews closed the on-ramp to Gateway Drive off of River Road NW at about 6:45 am Wednesday morning due to increasing water accumulation on the underpass. River Road NW is now closed; and flood walls will be installed today at River Heights (River Road/17th St) and at 12th Street NW.
Further road and bridge closure updates will be provided throughout the day.
