City crews began dismantling the “Invisible” Flood Wall along the downtown boardwalk on Tuesday morning.
The process is expected to take about two days. As the river continues to recede, the City will focus on removing other closures, including DeMers Avenue. The City is working closely with officials from MnDOT, NDDOT, and the City of Grand Forks on final testing and maintenance of the Sorlie Bridge and DeMers Avenue. Officials hope to have the bridge reopened by the weekend if current river projections hold.
