The Cities of East Grand Forks and Grand Forks plan to reopen the Sorlie Bridge at 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
MnDOT officials along with staff from the cities and from NDDOT completed their routine inspections and maintenance shortly before 1:00 pm on Thursday. The river level was down to 45 feet as of about noon Thursday.
