Services
The City of East Grand Forks Sanitation Department services over 3,000 customer units. The Department provides regularly scheduled curbside refuse and recycling collection for every residential household.
The Department has biannual curbside pick-up free of charge in the spring and fall along with a household hazardous waste and electronic drop-off.

Recycling
We encourage customers to reduce the amount of waste by recycling. The Department’s recycling collection consists of:
- A special waste site
- Commercial collection
- Residential curbside collection

- Residents that would like to obtain Yard Waste & Recycling Site card should stop at Public Works Department or the Administration Office on the 2nd floor in City Hall to complete the short form and receive the card. Please call the Public Works Department with questions at (218) 773-1313.
